The seasons go by and the exhibitions too! Here are the cultural novelties for spring in Paris:

 

  • Margiela / Galliera, 1989 - 2009: exhibition retracing the career of creator Martin Margiela from spring-summer 1989 to spring-summer 2009

  • Mary Cassatt, an American impressionist in Paris - Musée Jacquemart-André (until July 23)

  • Kupka. Pionnier de l’abstraction, an exhibition on Frantisek Kupka’s masterpieces - Grand Palais (until July 30)

  • At the Musée Picasso, we are celebrating the 80th anniversary of the creation of Guernica (March 27 - July 29)

  • Chagall, Lissitzky, Malévitch. L’avant-garde russe à Vitebsk (1918-1922) - Centre Pompidou (March 28  - July 16)

  • Diving into the world of spirits, terror and fantastic creatures: Enfers et fantômes d’Asie - Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac (April 10 - July 15)

  • At the Musée d’Orsay, Eastern Europe is in the spotlight with Symbolism in the art of the Baltic countries (April 10 - July 15)

  • Foujita, to paint in the crazy years - Musée Maillol (March 7 - July 15)

  • At the famous, Le Louvre, two exhibitions are in the spotlight: Delacroix (29 March - 23 July) and the exhibition France from the Grand Siècle, Drawings of Israel Silvestre (15 March - 25 June)

  • Exhibition Rodin et la danse - Musée Rodin (April 7 - July 22)

  • Finally, from March 30 to June 10, 2018, the Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art presents Freeing Architecture, the first major solo exhibition of Junya Ishigami
